As suggested by many, I have started a blog to keep track of the goings on in my fight with my H.O.A. over me flying the Gadsden flag. For those not in the loop, you can view my stories at ABC 15 and FOX 10, or just by googling my name.
The latest is this, I have a interview with "Fox and Friends" Wednesday morning at 5:30am local time, which will be shown nationally live on the Fox News Channel. I have spoke to news channels from Arizona to Michigan. This thing has ignited like a wildfire.
More to come....
Mr. McDonel,
ReplyDeleteWhile I do support your cause and support your right to freedom of speech, have you consider flying the "First Navy Jack" flag instead. This is an official United States Navy flag. It is flown by all U.S. Navy Ships as outlined in SECNAV INSTRUCTION 10520.6. The "First Navy Jack" flag contains a rattle snake, though not recoiled. It also does contain the words "Don't Tread on Me". It is also red and white striped instead of yellow. 13 stripes to be exact. The "First Navy Jack" was used as the Navy Jack at the beginning of our Navy in 1775.
Best of Luck,

I think it would be easier for me to consider supporting your cause if you had an "About" on your blog explaining why you chose to start flying this flag when you did... your quick facts give me a time line of facts. The question is, why? Why did you choose to decide to fly it? Historical reasons? There are dozens of historical flags to choose. Why that one? Why does this mean so much to you? It is difficult to sport someone unless one knows their reasons...
